This past week the NBA tipped off s new season; with a lot to be excited for. There were many notable changes this offseason including Lebron James' departure from Miami back to his hometown Cleveland. Kevin Durant in huge offseason contract talks with Nike and Under Armour for over $300 million. A huge focus of ours is what sneakers players are wearing throughout the season. Lebron James is debuting his 12th signature shoe for Nike; as well as Kevin Durant debuting his 7th signature for this powerhouse brand. The Jordan Brand made a huge splash signing the Portland Trailblazers' Lamarcus Aldridge. Other Jordan Brand Signees include Tyler Ennis, James Young, and Noah Vonleh. Throughout the season there will be many commemorative shoes for holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Chinese New Years, Black History Month and the ever so popular NBA “Holiday” All-Star Weekend. Players to keep an eye on this season will be: LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kevin Durant (OKC Thunder), Carmelo Anthony (N.Y. Knicks), Demarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), Nick Young (L.A. Lakers), Kobe Bryant (L.A. Lakers), Nate Robinson (Denver Nuggets), & Derrick Williams (Sacramento Kings). These afore mentioned players always bring their best on court as well as the shoes that these guys keep on their feet. So make sure to keep a lookout for all these guys and also give us some suggestions on players you want to see featured here throughout the season.
